Motueka Office Open

We had a lovely blessing of our new Motueka office on 10 October. Kaumatua Harvey Ruru led the blessing at the I-Site building on Wallace Street. We're really excited at having a physical hub in the town and it will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

We are also very pleased to introduce Tanya Charles, our new Elder Abuse Response Advisor, who will be based in Motueka and cover the district, as well as Mohua/Golden Bay. She will be working closely alongside our two other EARS Advisors, Kate Miller and Mal Drummond.

Tanya comes to us with a wealth of experience as a police officer in south-west England, and more recently as a nurse, having done her training when she moved to New Zealand four years ago. She has been working most recently at Alexandra Hospital as a nurse supporting older adults with mental health issues.
